Pricing

Public pricing. Match-driven tiers.

How Pricing Works

Match score determines tier. Tier determines pay.

Caliber prices on demonstrated fit, not seniority titles. Same scoring engine across all eleven placements.

Every Caliber candidate is scored 0–100% against your specific role needs. The score combines three independent assessments:

Behavioral fit: 81-question instrument covering operator dimensions like ownership, follow-through, and ambiguity tolerance.

Skills assessment: role-specific, with a live AI-tool component. The candidate demonstrates fluency in the actual tools the role uses.

AI-reviewed video interview: transcribed and reviewed by Claude against the behavioral and skills scoring rubric.

Below 85%, candidates don't get placed. At 85%, 90%, and 95%, candidates place into tiers. The pricing reflects the difference in expected outcome, not the difference in seniority labels.

85%
Tier 1 / Junior Builder
Strong fit on the core role. Operator base tier or focused builder scope.
90%
Tier 2 / Mid Builder
Higher fit. Senior operator scope or multi-step builder ownership.
95%
Senior Builder (Tier 3)
Top of the candidate pool. Architectural builder scope only.
Every Placement Includes

What ships with every hire.

Three things that come with every Caliber placement, operator or builder, regardless of tier.

Onboarding
$2,500 one-time per placement.
Includes the Caliber Operating System, 90-day evaluation guide, candidate onboarding guide, structured client information intake, and 45-minute implementation walkthrough. 50% off the second placement's onboarding fee for combo engagements.
Replacement Program
Replace the same role at $0.
If your hire leaves or the placement doesn't work out, Caliber replaces the same role at no additional onboarding fee. Up to 2 years from original placement. Operator or builder. Bounded by same role.
Billing
Monthly. 1-month minimum.
Autopay required. 3% annual rate escalator. Operator track 1-month minimum. Builder track 3-month minimum. 14-day cancellation notice in both cases.

Pricing FAQ

Common questions.

Why is pricing public?
Hidden pricing is a tax on buyers. Sales calls to learn the rate slow decisions and signal that the price will flex based on perceived budget. Caliber's rate card is the same number for every buyer. The only thing that changes per engagement is which tier the candidate places into based on match score.
What's the minimum commitment?
Operator track is 1-month minimum with 14-day cancellation notice. Builder track is 3-month minimum with 14-day cancellation notice after the minimum. Most engagements continue well past the minimum because the Caliber OS gets more valuable each month, but the structure is designed so you're never locked in beyond what you've used.
How does billing work?
Autopay monthly via credit card or ACH. Onboarding fee ($2,500) is billed with the first month. A 3% annual rate escalator applies on the placement anniversary. Small enough to feel routine. Large enough to keep the pricing aligned with continuing OS investment.
What does the Replacement Program actually cover?
If your hire leaves or the placement doesn’t work out within 2 years of the original placement date, Caliber replaces the same role. No additional onboarding fee. "Same role" means same role family and tier (Marketing Operator Tier 2 replaces Marketing Operator Tier 2, for example). The replacement is bounded by same role, not unlimited substitutions.
Can I get a discount on multiple placements?
Combo engagements (operator plus builder, or two operators in different roles) get 50% off the second placement's onboarding fee. $1,250 instead of $2,500. The monthly rates are not discounted. The rate card is the rate card. Volume buyers get faster onboarding scheduling and a shared OS deployment session.
Are taxes or VAT included?
All prices are in USD before any applicable sales tax or VAT. US-based clients pay no additional sales tax on services. International clients are responsible for any applicable VAT or local taxes; Caliber will issue invoices with the necessary tax IDs and documentation.
What if I want to upgrade or downgrade tiers?
Tier moves require a new placement under the Replacement Program (no additional onboarding fee). The match-scoring engine determines tier placement. A "Tier 1 to Tier 2" move means receiving a new candidate from the Tier 2 pool. The original placement isn’t repriced. They remain at the rate they were placed at.
Are there any other fees I should know about?
No. The rate card plus onboarding ($2,500 one-time) plus the 3% annual escalator is the complete cost structure. No setup fees beyond onboarding. No tooling fees. The Caliber OS is included. No exit fees beyond the 14-day cancellation notice. No "premium support" tiers. The number on the rate card is the number you pay.
How does Caliber pricing compare to a US in-house hire?
Caliber pricing runs 25% to 47% of a fully-loaded US hire across all eleven placements. Annual savings range from $71,464 for a Revenue Operations Tier 1 to $166,128 for a Senior Systems Builder. The full per-role math is in the rate card above. Run your specific role through the calculator.
